   A few weeks ago I had a unique opportunity to work with my friend Tony Granata while he captured some unique images of the brightly painted "CAG bird" for VMFA-312. This F/A-18C had been the centerpiece for the squadron's 70th anniversary celebration, and the maintenance department was kind enough to tow it out by itself for us to photograph. Fortunately Tony's style differs greatly from mine, even in basic composition, so it was possible to work around the jet simultaneously without getting too much in each other's way.

 Get the Lightroom 4 Beta!

Okay, so if you are still in the dark ages and not using Adobe Lightroom, I guess I could forgive you for not being excited about the beta version of Lightroom 4. If you think software like Lightroom is only "for professionals", well, go read my previous post about Pro Features! 

What are "Pro Features" Anyway?

So, I've heard it a few times before; "oh that camera has a bunch of features that ONLY a professional photographer would use!"

As I'm in the process of trying out the Google+ integration, there may be a few posts coming up that are short on information or are (gasp) recycled from previous content!

A Blog? That is so 2010!

So why a blog, now?  Well, my posts over on Google+ have been getting longer and longer, which REALLY defeats the purpose of G+.  Now that the two are linked, it is one LESS social media / site that I have to update!  (and as you all know, my update rates are slower than an APG-65 radar in Track While Scan mode... sorry, jet nerd joke there!)
